The Opportunity to Share the Evolution of My Work

December 2, 2022—I recently had the honor and fabulous opportunity to discuss the evolution of my work to expand Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Access in the arts on the podcast, Barsha Barsha Barsha!, with the award-winning composer, pianist and singer Debra Barsha.

The conversation ranged from the pioneering community engagement work I did with Dance Theatre of Harlem to the EDI&A trainings I am currently conducting with arts and culture organizations throughout the country.

I also had the opportunity to discuss my practice of Soka Gakkai Nichiren Buddhism and the primary role it plays in every aspect of my life. More than a spiritual practice, Soka Gakkai Nichiren Buddhism is a philosophy of life that recognizes the limitless potential of every single person to use their lives to create value, work for justice, and foster peace. We refer to that limitless potential as “Buddhability.”

I invite you to listen to the episode at this link, which Debra delightfully titled “The Broadway Buddhist.”

As always, I would like to know what you think. Please share your thoughts and comments below.
